Well this is my first Independence day as a retiree. We had an impromtu party on the 2nd at our place. Joannie's nephew and family showed up and Sam who I used to climb with and his wife Marcie. Also our son Scott and his girlfriend Cierra showed up from Reno. I do believe a good time was had by all.

Following the house party we drove down to Mammoth and got our shred on with the always fun lift served downhill at Mammoth Mtn. We put our packrafts in at Silver Lake, June Mountain also. The weather deteriorated after that with early thunderstorms and heavy rain. We arrived home to more flash flooding but no damage to our property.
